Although I have been advocating for a critical psychedelic humanities since 2010 , I was one of the only humanists at early psychedelic conferences. While “critical psychedelic studies” was always interdisciplinary , its rise has been influenced by the simultaneous codification of “ psychedelic humanities ” as a subfield in its own right.
