Drug information startup InpharmD has signed a three-year contract with Georgia’s WellStar Health System that will provide InpharmD’s mobile app to the system’s practitioners. Physicians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants will be able to submit their drug queries through the AI-powered app and receive a customized and evidence-based response within a specified timeframe, with their answers then becoming immediately available to other users for future reference.

“Currently, health care providers must search for the information they need. However, it can be tedious to find exactly what you’re looking for,” Ashish Advani, president and founder of InpharmD, said in a statement. “This evidence-informed mobile app helps save time.”

Employer health plan company Imagine Health has tapped MediKeeper to provide the portal for its members. The custom health plan portal will act as a central hub for the programs and services offered to Imagine Health’s plan members, and will support a number of services including live chats with a concierge team, a search tool for in-network doctors, and appointment requests.

“We designed MediKeeper's suite of wellness, benefits, and health plan technology solutions with the goal of simplifying benefits and health management and improving the member experience,” MediKeeper CEO David Ashworth said in a statement. “We are proud to be working with Imagine Health to develop their health plan portal.”

Digital health coaching company Liva Healthcare and employee health engagement platform dacadoo have announced a strategic cooperation that will offer their complementary services within a single package. This connected offering will be available in Europe, Asia, and the US.

"Our insurance clients want to take a more active role in the health management of their members and provide a good coverage across all health stages of their insured population,” Peter Ohnemus, founder and CEO of dacadoo, said in a statement. “The connection of the platforms of both dacadoo and Liva Healthcare do respond well to exactly this need and we are very happy to collaborate with Liva Healthcare in this area.”

Accountable care organization (ACO) management company MedLink Advantage has entered a strategic partnership with The Garage, a population health management tech company. In a statement, MedLink said it would be leveraging its new partner’s platform to help its ACO clients better coordinate transitional, chronic, and preventative care programs and achieve all-around better performance.

"In the midst of drastic shifts in the healthcare industry, ACOs increasingly find that their unique needs must be met by tailored, robust solutions that help them better serve their populations,” Dr. Don Klitgaard, CEO and chief medical officer at MedLink Advantage, said in a statement. “Throughout our search for a technology partner, we were consistently impressed with The Garage and its unique understanding of our clients’ needs. We truly feel that our partnership will not only greatly benefit our clients, but ultimately improve the thousands of lives that our ACOs touch.”
