This morning Evernow, a virtual women’s health company, named Dr. Leah Millheiser its next chief medical officer. Millheiser is a trained OB/GYN who specializes in menopause and sexual health. She is a clinical professor and the director of the Female Sexual Medicine Program in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford Medical Center.

Dr. Jennifer Garrison, co-founder and director of the Global Consortium for Female Reproductive Longevity & Equality, is also joining the company as Scientific Advisor. Additionally, Dr. Sonali Sharma, an adult psychiatrist and co-host of the podcast Model Mentality, will now sit on the Medical Advisory Board.

“We are tremendously excited to welcome Dr. Millheiser, Dr. Sharma and Dr. Garrison to our company,” Alicia Jackson, CEO of Evernow, said in a statement. “As we scale out our business and plan for 2022, we need focused leaders who can continue to carry on our mission to help and improve women’s healthcare and carry on the growth of our company.”

Carrot Fertility, a reproductive-benefits manager, tapped Tim Kelly as its next chief commercial officer. Kelly comes to Carrot after serving at Aetna for 15 years. His work also includes a stint at UnitedHealth Group, where he served as a sales executive.

The company also announced that it is promoting Brooke Quinn, senior vice president of customer success, to chief customer officer, and James Wong, vice president of product, to chief product officer.

This news comes just months after the company nabbed $75 million in Series C funding

"Our mission has always been to make fertility healthcare accessible for everyone, beginning in the workplace," Dr. Asima Ahmad, co-founder and chief medical officer, said in a statement. "From clinical care navigation to engineering, product, customer success and beyond, we've built a world-class team that's hard at work creating more equitable access to fertility care and family-forming options for our members."

Zerigo, maker of a connected phototherapy device for skin conditions, named Helen Calvin its next president and chief commercial officer. In this new role, she is expected to lead the company’s commercial operations and strategy functions.

Calvin comes from Jellyvision, where she served as chief revenue and growth officer.

“I’m thrilled to join Zerigo Health at such an exciting time for the company, as well as the digital health industry,” said Calvin. “Our ability to give members the tools and support to administer their own prescription therapy, where and when they want, represents the future of chronic disease management.

"The response from health plans and employers has been incredibly strong. These companies have been looking for a cost-effective and clinically proven solution to offer their members and employees to treat chronic skin disorders. They are confident they’ve found the solution in Zerigo.”

In October, Zerigo made news when it announced a $43 million Series B funding round

H1, a healthcare provider data network, appointed Mike Derezin to its Board of Directors. Derezin is the COO for Chainlink Labs, and has previously worked at LinkedIn, VoxPop and Porvenir.

“Mike Derezin is an exciting addition to our Board,” said Ariel Katz, co-founder and CEO of H1. “There are some important similarities between H1 and the early days of LinkedIn. As our global healthcare network expands, Mike’s experience at LinkedIn, as well as his expertise in scaling businesses as a successful CEO and a trusted investor to startups will be invaluable. I’m grateful to have him on our team at this pivotal moment for our company.”

In November, H1 raked in a whopping $100 million in Series C funding. Later that month, the company announced that Ziad Ismail would be its next chief operating officer.
