We’re excited to share the topic and questions for this week’s #HITsm chat happening Friday, 6/19 at Noon ET (9 AM PT). This week’s chat will be hosted by Leslie Kelly Hall (@lesliekellyhall) on the topic of “Communicating with Patients: Best Practice in the Digital World of COVID“.
Communicating with patients today demands new skills of providers and their staff. Tele-health, texting, portal use, and ZOOM are just some of the techniques used. There are varying levels of success, with any mode of communication. From placing a computer in each exam room as the “patient”, using all the same workflow and communication to interactive sharing of screens while in a telehealth visit, to symptom management via text, the ideas and processes are innumerable.
We are still learning. Share your ideas and comments, we want to hear from providers, patients, vendors, integrators, caregivers! Share your story about communicating with patients in this digital world of COVID.
Join us Friday for a chat where we’ll be talking about communicating with patients.
