(Tuomey), reached a settlement of $72.4 million on October 16, 2015. This settlement put to rest a decade of litigation, including two trials and two US Fourth Circuit appellate decisions.

OIG flagged various providers as maintaining questionable billing practices for services rendered in 2012.

She was required to appear before the Florida Board of Medicine last Friday, October 9, 2015. It may seem odd that a doctor licensed and practicing medicine in Arizona would have to answer to the Florida Board of Medicine.
