We’re excited to share the topic and questions for this week’s #HITsm chat happening Friday, 3/26 at Noon ET (9 AM PT). This week’s chat will be hosted by John Lynn (@techguy) from @hcittoday and @carecognitics on the topic “Digital Patient Check-In”
As we look at the impact of COVID on healthcare, a number of areas really pop out when it comes to healthcare organizations having to change in dramatic fashion. We all know about the explosion of telehealth and the move to remote work wherever possible. However, one area that hasn’t gotten as much attention is need to change the patient check-in process.
The waiting room in healthcare has a really uncertain future. In some ways that’s a challenge when you’re in an urban environment where people can’t wait in their cars. In other ways, it’s a really good thing because it’s forcing practices to embrace the world of digital check-in and the patient experience improvements that can provide.
Join us for this week’s #HITsm chat where we’ll discuss shift to digital patient check-in including where we’re at in the process of moving digital and where there’s still work to be done.
