3 Health IT Charts from David Chou

If you’re not following David Chou on Twitter, you should be.  He’s been CIO at multiple organizations and he’s constantly sharing interesting info that’s useful to others in healthcare IT.  You have to ignore some of his bad NBA fandom, but otherwise it’s good stuff.

To see what I mean, check out these 3 health IT charges David Chou shared and we’ll add a little commentary to each.

I’m sorry to say, but a lot of people are going to be back in the office. That’s not all bad since many want to go back to the office. However, I know very few people who want to be told they have to go back to the office. It’s amazing how many executives think the only way they can manage is having their employees back in the office. I think this is going to catch up to them as their best employees leave.

If you’re a regular reader of Healthcare IT Today, then this won’t surprise you. You’ve seen all the health IT funding announcements we’ve shared. That said, it’s still pretty astounding to see how fast it’s grown. Worth noting is that it’s the total amount being raised versus the number of deals. Although, both are up.

As if we have to tell this audience that SDoH (Social Determinants of Health) matter. You know this. That’s why we’ve done our best to focus on how to implement it. We know it’s valuable, but getting it to those that need it is hard.
