What you will do:

Under the supervision of the Manager of IT Infrastructure, the IT Infrastructure Administrator will support multiple IT infrastructure elements at Colorado Access, with an emphasis on our internal and external PowerBI infrastructure. They are responsible for systems administration of IT infrastructure systems, including servers (Windows and Linux), storage, backup, cloud and disaster recovery and will work closely with other IT Infrastructure Administrators, Infrastructure Engineers, third parties and other IT functional groups to ensure that services are available as required. He/she will ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements, NIST standards, and organizational policies/procedures. This role is also responsible for assisting other administrators in monitoring, configuring, and responding to infrastructure alerts; providing configuration control; and implementing and supporting infrastructure designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures.

·       Builds and maintains virtual and physical servers (Windows and Linux).

·       Maintains the operations of all servers to ensure availability.

·       Troubleshoots and resolves any IT service issues related to operating systems and servers.

·       Works with the rest of the Infrastructure team to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.

·       Assists in the maintenance of disaster recovery plans.

·       Builds and implements operating system standards for servers.

·       Assists Infrastructure Engineers in maintaining backup systems and processes.

·       Maintains Active Directory and Azure AD.

·       Power BI administration – provide full lifecycle support for Power BI, including AD security, account management, capacity management, data gateway configuration, and documenting the Power BI environment and solutions.

·       Account administration for internal and external Power BI users

·       Work with data owners and Power BI report developers to support their needs

·       Provide support and administration for SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

·       Works with third party vendors and consultants to implement and support new systems as required.

·       Provides assistance and support to desk side and service desk teams as needed.

·       Works directly with end users as needed to resolve technical issues that have been escalated.

·       Assist other team members in providing support for all telecommunications systems, to include PBX, contact center, soft phones and mobile phones and all associated infrastructure

What you will bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in an IT field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in an IT Infrastructure systems administration position. Experience in administration of cloud services, hyper-converged infrastructure and Office 365 preferred. Healthcare IT with experience or knowledge of HIPAA preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Expertise in Windows Server operating systems, Linux (Red Hat and Ubuntu). Experience and expertise in Windows Active Directory. Knowledge of data backup methodologies and products (CommVault Simpana preferred). Understanding of SOX and HIPAA. Expertise with VMWare, to include building servers, managing all aspects of a vSphere environment. Understanding of disaster recovery principals and implementation tools, technologies and methods. System administration, supporting multiple platforms and applications. Experience working with cloud deployments in Azure. Automating infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools. Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision and values with strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills with ability to manage changing priorities. May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid certifications in a relevant technology stack (VCP, MCSE, etc.) are preferred. A valid driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.
