The NextGen CCIO and CIO Bursary Programme has been created ahead of this year’s Digital Health Summer Schools to help identify, promote and support emerging digital leaders seeking personal growth in CIO roles within the UK digital health and care sector.

The brand new bursary programme, sponsored by Salesforce, will help foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange among future digital leaders to encourage innovation and best practice sharing.

Ten aspiring chief clinical information officers (CCIO) and ten aspiring chief information officers (CIO), who are members of the Digital Health Networks, will be provided with a bursary to cover the cost of attending Summer Schools 2024, which will take place in 18-19 July in Durham.

The bursary programme includes:

  • Two-day access to keynotes, presentations, breakout sessions and networking at Summer Schools
  • On site accommodation, meals and refreshments
  • Access to evening social events
  • CPD certificate of attendance

To apply for the bursary, you must:

  • Be an emerging digital leader seeking personal growth in CCIO and CIO roles
  • Be a UK resident
  • Be a member of the Digital Health Networks
