Reduced Co-Insurance for Screening Colonoscopies

For dates of service calendar years 2027-2029, the reduced coinsurance is 10%. In addition, the ACA amended Section 1833(b)(1) of the Act to waive the Part B deductible for screening colonoscopies, which includes moderate sedation services as an inherent part of the screening colonoscopy procedural service.
